The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into how you think about it.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
